  Design
Our design facility has been developed over recent years using a simple but effective philosophy of selecting experienced designers with practical knowledge of ceiling systems and providing them with the most powerful and up-to-date technology available. This combination enables us to provide and exchange ideas and information with Architects and Developers at the highest level and produce practical results with the minimum of delay. Our CAD facilities (currently "Autocad 2009") are constantly being upgraded to keep abreast of current developments, and will continue to play a major part in our Company's growth.
Manufacturing
Virtually all of the ceiling systems installed by BCL, are designed and manufactured specifically for each individual project. Whilst the majority of BCL's projects continue to use perforated steel or Aluminium perforated panels, as the base system, we are regularly called upon to produce solutions using non-standard materials. Recent projects have included such diverse materials such as Flat and Tented Fabrics, Timber (both Hard and Soft woods), Extruded Aluminium, GRG (glass reinforced Gypsum) and EML (expanded metal lathing).
Installation
All installations undertaken by BCL are carried out by skilled tradesmen, whose standards of work are constantly scrutinised by intensive QA Systems operated at site level. A summary of these and other procedures relevant to the Company's system is available on request.
Quality Assurance
The achievement of quality has always been high on Barrett Ceilings' list of priorities. This culminated in the Company's accreditation to ISO 9001, the first ceiling specialist to achieve this Standard in the UK.
ISO 9001 ensures that companies meeting its requirements have, and keep to, specified procedures. The customer can thus be reassured that adequate checks and test are carried out at all stages of the design and installation.
For each contract a quality audit trail is established, which can be inspected by the customer at any time.
