The architects Aukett Fitzroy Robinson approached BCL at an early stage to help design this new office development on behalf of Jarrold, the Norwich based retail group. Through BCL’s innovative and thorough approach to design, ‘secret-fixing’ systems were employed in all areas of the building ensuring a clean modern finish, as per the brief. The trademark pre-fabrication process of BCL meant that the open-slat stairwell screens could also be panelised, ensuring a faultless consistency to the overall timber alignment and minimising the time spent on site. This also reduces the amount of on-site labour, helping main contractors keep the overall project on-time and on-budget. |
