Timber ceilings: AELTCC Wimbledon

Profile:
Western Red Cedar was the selected species for this highly prestigious project. BCL's design involvement allowed the architect's visual concept to be built as a practical, accessible panel lining system. Functionality such as access, lighting, speaker systems, acoustic treatments etc. were all easily incorporated in the BCL design. Pre-fabricated panels were laid into a bespoke gridwork system creating a dramatic linear effect from a range of different slat widths.
